Monthly routines (Masa-vishesham) : As per the tradition every month a special ayilya pooja is performed on the day of Ayilyam nakshatra for Naagaraja, Naaga Yakshi and Naaga kanyaka.
Annual routines (Aatta-Vishesham) : Atta-vishesham are observed on the specified days of the year noted below. The auspicious days are given in the Malayalam almanac (panchangam):-
Sree Hanuman Jayanthi: Most important Aatta-vishesham, is observed as special annual festival day. Every year in the Malayalam month of Dhanu (Sagittarius) (Dec - Jan) in Moolam star considered to be the birth star of Sree Hanuman Swamy, the temple is celebrated with various special poojas under the auspices of Melshanthi.
Punaprathishta anniversary: Every year in the Malayalam month of midhunam (Gemini) (Jun-Jul) in Chothi star various poojas are performed at the temple under the auspices of Melshanthi.
Sahasrakalasa pooja, Abhishekam and Laksharchana Every year in sukla-paksha in the Malayalam month of Karkkidakam (Jul-Aug) for 07 days various poojas like Kalasa pooja, Abhishekam and Laksharchana are performed at the Temple under the auspices of Thanthri.
